Introduction to Query Based Reporting & Taking Your Preventive Maintenance Program to Predictive Maintenance

Technology Training & Consulting, Inc. proudly presents the following training outlines for a full day of training by Anne Antonelli during the FMMUG in March 2019 at Charleston, SC.

Session 1: 8:00 am – 10:00 am Introduction to Query Based Reporting

Audience: Maintenance and Inventory Supervisors and other Maximo support personnel who need to be able to create their own custom reports in Maximo without having to learn the SQL query language.

Course Summary: BRING YOUR OWN COMPUTER and use our Maximo training environment in the cloud for this hands-on, instructor-led 2-hour class. This class teaches creating custom reports through list tab and Advanced Search screen searches with the IBM Query Based Reporting (QBR) functionality. In addition, report writers are introduced to the Maximo Report Administrator application so that they understand how to take their reports to the next level and make them available to co-workers.

Specific topics covered are:

  1. Advanced Searching and Querying Techniques
  2. Creating Basic List Reports with Query Based Reporting (QBR)
  3. Understanding Data Table Relationships for QBR
  4. Creating Advanced Reports with QBR
  5. Using Calculations and Summary options in QBR
  6. Editing QBR Reports
  7. Publishing and Scheduling QBR Reports

Each attending student will receive a printed copy of the TTC Introduction to Query Based Reporting courseware and/or access to the non-printable, searchable PDF of the courseware and access to TTC’s Maximo 7.6.0.9 training environment for hands-on training during the class.

Session 2 – Part 1: 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and Part 2: 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm Taking your Preventive Maintenance Program to Predictive Maintenance with Routes, Meters, and Condition Monitoring!

Audience: Maintenance Planners and Supervisors and other Maximo support personnel who are responsible for developing and delivering a high-quality preventive/predictive maintenance program within their organization.

Course Summary: BRING YOUR OWN COMPUTER and use our Maximo training environment in the cloud for this hands-on, instructor-led 4-hour class. This class teaches the creation of routes, meters, meter groups and condition monitoring records. It provides examples and scenarios for use of these Maximo functionalities to assist your organization in moving from simple time-based preventive maintenance to a predictive maintenance program.

Specific topics covered are: 

  1. Create, Edit, and Use Routes
  2. Understanding the three (3) different options for the use of Routes on Preventive Maintenance records
  3. Create, Edit, and Use Meters and Meter Groups
  4. Adding Meters and Meter groups to Locations and Assets
  5. Enter Meter readings in Assets, Locations, Work Orders, and Quick Reports
  6. Create, Edit and Use Condition Monitoring Points
  7. Generate Work Orders from Job Plans and Preventive Maintenance records using Routes, Meters, and Condition Monitoring Points
  8. Scenario-based exercises for using Routes, Meters, and Condition Monitoring Points
